This is what basketball means to me: connection, freedom, and presence.
I didn’t go there to create something perfect.
I just stayed, observed, and captured what was already there.

From Swiss wrestling (Schwingen) to football and capoeira, I capture action, emotion, and atmosphere.
I’m especially connected to basketball — not big arenas, but real courts.
One of these moments happened in Porto: just a player, the hoop, and the ocean.
No pressure. Just the game.
That’s what I look for in every sport:

Capoeira Showcase: Zurich Event
As part of my dedication to capturing the vibrant world of sports, I had the pleasure of photographing an exhilarating Capoeira event held here in Zurich. This event featured talented athletes from ATD Capoeira, showcasing their incredible skills and the dynamic, rhythmic art of Capoeira.
Participants came from various regions, bringing together a diverse group of performers who demonstrated the grace, strength, and cultural richness of this Afro-Brazilian martial art. Through my lens, I aimed to capture not only the physical prowess of these athletes but also the spirit of camaraderie and cultural heritage that Capoeira embodies.
At the moment, I am displaying two images that highlight the energy, agility, and passion of the Capoeira practitioners. Each image tells a story of movement, balance, and the unique blend of dance and martial arts that defines Capoeira.

Hey there! I recently snapped a shot of a ZFC player honing his skills. He was working on his goal shots, with a teammate constantly feeding him balls.
It’s easy to forget the hard work behind the scenes when we watch a game. This moment captured the effort these players put in. Just a little reminder of the passion that fuels every goal!
